Delete Your Account
This page explains how to delete your account on Omkan (the omkan.shop website and the Omkan app, provided by Omkan Limited), and what happens to your data.
Option 1: Delete in the app
- Open the Omkan app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm when asked.
Your account will be deleted and you will be signed out.
Option 2: Ask us by email
If you can’t use the app, send an email to info@omkan.shop from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm your request and delete your account within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number and password.
- Your saved addresses, cart and wishlist.
- Your wallet balance, club points and coupons. These cannot be recovered, so please use them before deleting your account.
- Your push notification and sign-in details.
What we keep, and for how long
- Order and invoice records, which the law requires us to keep for tax and accounting purposes. We keep these only for as long as the law requires, and we do not use them for marketing.
- Records needed to resolve an open order, refund or dispute, until it is closed.
All other personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days of your request.
