Seller Policy

These rules apply to every shop on Omkan. They work together with the Seller Terms & Conditions.
1. Who can sell
- Businesses and individuals who trade lawfully in their own country and are at least 18 years old.
- Every shop is checked and approved by Omkan before it can sell. We may ask for proof of identity and business details at any time.
- One account per seller. Your business name and location must be correct.
2. Listings
- Describe every product honestly: what it is, what it is made of, its size, and how long you need to make and send it.
- Use photos of the real product that you took or have the right to use. Do not show a different item, and do not present a computer-generated image as a photo of the real product.
- State materials correctly. For example, write “gold-plated stainless steel”, not “gold”. In the UK, items described as gold, silver, platinum or palladium must be hallmarked unless they are exempt by weight.
- Set prices in GBP, including all charges the buyer must pay. Do not add hidden fees at the end.
3. Prohibited items
You must not sell counterfeit or replica goods; items that break anyone’s trademark, copyright or design rights; weapons and their parts; drugs, medicines and drug equipment; tobacco and vaping products; alcohol; hazardous or recalled products; adult content; live animals; or any item that is illegal in the seller’s country, the buyer’s country or the UK, or restricted by sanctions.
4. Orders
- Accept or decline each order quickly, and send it within the time shown on the listing.
- Use a tracked service for international orders and add the tracking number to the order.
- For personalised orders, use the buyer’s text exactly as given. If anything is unclear, message the buyer before you make the item.
5. Returns and refunds
You must follow the Omkan Return & Refund Policy and the buyer’s legal rights: a 14-day right to cancel for most items, and a refund, repair or replacement for faulty items. Reply to return requests within 3 working days with your return address, and refund within 14 days of receiving the item back.
6. Talking to buyers
- Answer messages within 2 working days.
- Keep all communication and payments on Omkan. Never ask a buyer to pay you outside the marketplace.
- Use buyers’ details only to complete their orders.
7. Reviews
Do not write reviews of your own products, ask others to, or offer anything in exchange for a positive review. Fake reviews are illegal in the UK.
8. Product safety and compliance
Your products must be safe and meet the rules of your country, the buyer’s country and the UK, including labelling, export and import rules. Jewellery that touches the skin must meet the legal limits for nickel, lead and cadmium.
9. If the rules are broken
We may remove listings, hold payments while we investigate, suspend or close a shop, and refund buyers. Serious or repeated breaches lead to permanent closure.
